Internet Jobs Working From Home

Hi everyone, this is Clark, and a big welcome to this website. Internet jobs working from home have afforded us the luxury of a flexible workday. And they exist. While some online job “opportunities” are outright scams, there are legitimate money-making methods available online. Often all that you need is a computer with an Internet connection, and some hard work.

My recommendation though is Internet marketing, and I’ll explain more about it below. Despite the term “marketing”, nowadays it is possible to make money with your website without selling anything.

Data Entry and Filling in Online Surveys – Not Recommended

Online data entry and surveys are popular. Probably it is due to the fact that you can get started without any experience. You can earn extra spending money to buy some things that you wouldn’t buy otherwise, but you’re not going to earn a full-time income working from home with these two jobs.

For instance, data entry salary is $10-$15 an hour on average for beginner-level jobs/projects. In short you’ll be spending a lot of time for near-minimum wages. Online surveys do not pay any better in my opinion.

However, if you insist, below are six freelancing sites with a good number of data entry jobs, that also post other online jobs as well:

1) Guru.com
2) Upwork.com
3) PeoplePerHour.com
4) Fiverr.com
5) MTurk.com
6) Freelancer.com

To get started with freelancing, just set up a free account in the above sites then look for job postings of clients who are looking for freelancers. Bear in mind that you should never be asked to make any payment for any freelance job that you’re applying for.

And some of the best-paying online survey sites that I’ve heard of are:

1) Swagbucks
2) Toluna
3) Valued Opinions
4) YouGov
5) Vivatic

So feel free to explore the above sites if online survey is your thing.

I have to admit that I do not have much familiarity with other Internet jobs besides data entry, surveys and Internet marketing, but based on my observation so far I see other jobs require a specific set of circumstances or skills to get started.

What is Internet Marketing?

Internet marketing basically means creating/growing a business online. Nowadays if you have a website it is not necessary to sell anything (although you can) in order to make money.

With more than 3 billion people online, searching for information and for products that will help them in some way, there is no limit as to how much income you can generate with Internet marketing.

There are four steps in creating + growing an online business:

1) Choose your topic or niche, which can be meditation music, weight loss, health food, pets, travel, self-development, pianos, guitars, it can be anything. With BILLIONS of people on the Internet, there is no shortage of people in any niche. So just choose a topic that you enjoy.

2) Build a website, which is where you publish quality content that helps your visitors get what they want. With the advancement of technology, nowadays you can build a website in under a minute just by typing a few words and clicking a few buttons. The technical aspects of website building can be taken care of behind the scenes.

3) Attract lots of people to your site for free, by publishing relevant, helpful and engaging posts (content) for your visitors, which builds trust and authority with the search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo). And with trust and authority, when someone types in a “search term” into Google or some other search engine while looking for something on the Internet, your relevant post will show up on page 1 of its search results, and is likely to be read. You don’t have to be a wonderful salesman or writer to be successful in Internet marketing, just convey your message the same way you speak to your friends and family.

4) Earn money, and one popular way is through affiliate marketing, which is promoting products on behalf of other people on your website and earning commissions. Another popular method is by placing advertisements on your site, and each time your visitor clicks on one of your ads you receive some money – no selling involved.
