Retirement Hobbies that Make MONEY

Hey there, I’m Clark, and welcome to Today let’s discuss retirement hobbies that make money. If you have any questions or comments while reading, DO leave them below and I’ll be happy to help or start a discussion with you.

Alright, without further ado let’s get started.

UBER Driver

Since it was introduced, Uber’s on-demand driver service had taken the world by storm. With a smartphone, anyone who requires a ride can instantly connect with a growing number of Uber drivers who use their own cars as “taxis”. If you enjoy driving around town, and you have a car and a valid driver’s license, you might want to consider becoming an Uber driver.

If you’re really interested, just register as a driver at Uber’s website for free.

One-to-one Tutoring

If you’re good at a particular subject, say science, mathematics, geography, etc., you can of course provide one-to-one coaching to help kids or teenagers do better in their studies. And once you have gotten a few happy clients, ask them to refer you to their friends.

Internet Marketing

If you love sharing your ideas with people, I would recommend Internet marketing. And despite the word “marketing”, you may choose whether or not to promote stuff.

The process that successful Internet marketers use is:

1) Decide on your “topic” or niche. This is what you’re going to write about on your website (site). And over time you can build multiple online businesses catering to multiple niches. A niche can be any topic you enjoy – for instance cooking, fitness, musical instruments, traveling, self-development, anything. And with billions of people online, any topic you choose is big enough to be profitable.

2) Build a website, which is your online “store”. Nowadays the technical aspects of website building and hosting can be taken care of behind the scenes, and your involvement can be just deciding on a name and a design for your site.

3) Publish quality posts (relevant, helpful content) on your website. This builds trust with the search engines and gets you a lot of visitors. If you can, spend a few hours daily creating and publishing new content, working on your website layout, etc., at least during the initial phase of your online business, and you could earn $2,000 to $3,000 per month within, say, 3-6 months of building a new website. It is also possible to scale your business to make tens of thousands of dollars per month in a few years’ time.

4) Earn money. You may have heard of affiliate marketing, which involves you (affiliate) helping other people (merchants) to promote their products on your website and earning commissions when customers buy due to your promotion efforts. Another very popular method of making money online is by placing advertisements on your site, and each time someone clicks on one of the ads you make a little bit of money.

Last but not least, if you love cooking and are good at it, you may consider catering. It’s best if you have a companion who is a wonderful people person and is also retired. You can prepare the meals while your partner delivers the food to customers’ homes and try to get new business. You can start by asking around your neighborhood, and your clients can help to spread the word once they’ve tasted your delicious meals. Catering is especially popular with families where both its parents are working.

And that’s all from me. As always, if you have any questions or comments PLEASE feel free to leave them below and I’ll be more than happy to help you out or start a discussion. Thanks a lot!
